My name is Raysa De la Paz. I have worked in the Education field for the past 28 years, five of those years as a Teacher’s Assistant at Miami Lakes Elementary School, now Miami Lakes K-8 Center and for the past 23 years, here at Seminole Tribe of Florida Education Department. I started as the Office Clerk, later became the Administrative Assistant and now the Office Manager, and I’m responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the office. I currently work with a team of dedicated professionals, a team that goes above and beyond every day making sure that we provide each Tribal Member with the opportunity to succeed in all their educational and professional pursuits. I am eager to assist all Tribal Members and be a positive resource in their educational journey.
It has been a blessing and an honor to serve the Seminole Tribal Members all these years and I pray to God that it continues for many years.
When I’m not at work, you can find me at home baking cupcakes or reading stories to my grandkids, Jayden and Dominic.
