The K-12 Program closely works with Seminole Tribal parents to assist in the development and progress of children. This includes assisting with:
- Public/Private school selection
- Educational Progress
- Enrollment Process
- Tuition Payments
- Monitoring Grades and School Attendance
- Coordinates meetings with schools to help students with IEP (Individual Education Plan), 504 Plans, SST (Student Support Team), and Parent-Teacher conferences
- Sponsors events throughout the year such as Close Up Program and Unity Conference
Exceptional Student Education (ESE) Services:
Monitor students designated ESE with IEP plans, attend IEP meetings to assist students, parents and teachers, provide referrals to CCDT for psycho-educational evaluation. Review or follow up on IEP plans with Schools regarding Service delivery and compliance with ESE standards.
Truancy:
We offer positive support for students and parents regarding attendance. We also work with students who are considered truant to achieve and maintain excellence in school attendance.
Private School Scholarship:
The scholarship covers books, tuition, registration, lab fees, school required laptops and must meet the iPad/Computer Policy.
